About this role

CMT is seeking a collaborative and hands-on Principal Software Engineer I, Backend to join the Data & Platform group and strengthen the shared engineering foundation across the organization. This role involves designing scalable, reliable, and reusable platforms across cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and AI-enabled engineering capabilities. The position requires working from the Chennai office three days per week to establish architecture standards and build self-service capabilities for engineers.
