Principal Systems Engineer – Infrared Sensor Payloads

Sierra Space is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership and systems engineering oversight for advanced space-based infrared sensing capabilities supporting missile warning and tracking missions. The role involves serving as a senior technical authority for the infrared mission payload, driving technical decisions across organizational and supplier boundaries, and ensuring the delivery of an integrated sensing capability that meets demanding mission performance requirements. This highly interdisciplinary position requires a deep understanding of the complete sensing chain and the ability to lead complex technical activities involving multiple engineering disciplines.
