About this role

As a Principal Vulnerability Researcher at Bitsight, you will serve as the technical lead for global vulnerability detection capabilities, designing high-fidelity remote detection techniques and overseeing the team's methodology. This role involves leading research into newly disclosed CVEs, integrating AI/ML to accelerate workflows, and acting as a subject matter expert for senior leadership on complex technical risks. You will also mentor senior engineers and steward the company's legal scanning guidelines while leveraging cloud-native infrastructure for internet-scale operations.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end research of high-impact CVEs and reverse engineer patches
Design and implement detection logic that runs efficiently at internet scale
Integrate Machine Learning and LLMs to accelerate vulnerability discovery
Architect and oversee the deployment of distributed scanning agents
Provide high-level technical mentorship to senior and staff engineers

Qualifications
