About this role

The Principle Cyber Security Engineer will work within the Starburst Engineering Department to develop, deploy, and sustain cyber security solutions for the Starburst program. The role involves operating on a secure, air-gapped DoD network, supporting system documentation, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to manage cyber risk and information assurance.

Responsibilities

Operate within air‑gapped DoD IT network to deploy new capabilities
Create and present technical materials to diverse audiences
Develop and maintain system documentation and operational guides
Define and implement cyber risk posture and mitigation across enterprise IT services
Support on‑site closed environment with occasional off‑site work and up to 10% travel
