Probation Officer Trainee

This entry-level role provides new Probation Officer Trainees with supervised training to conduct pre-sentence investigations and manage offender caseloads. Trainees will interview clients, perform risk assessments, prepare legal reports, and recommend sentencing or supervision levels to the courts. The position requires developing abilities in crimsinal justice procedures, record maintenance, and community resource referrals under direct supervision.
