About this role

The position performs investigative, counseling, and case management duties for the Spokane County District Court Probation Division. The incumbent develops case histories, makes recommendations to the Court regarding adult inmates, and monitors the progress of adult offenders on probation or in confinement. Work is performed with considerable independence under the direction of the District Court Probation/DUI Court Manager.

Responsibilities

Conduct intake interviews and develop case histories for adult offenders
Write evaluation and pre-sentence investigation reports with sentencing recommendations
Monitor probationer compliance and coordinate with treatment providers and courts

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Sociology or Psychology
