Probation Officer

This position enforces court orders by supervising offenders on probation, parole, or in rehabilitative programs to ensure community safety and offender accountability. The role involves conducting risk assessments, developing case plans, and utilizing motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral interventions to facilitate long-term behavior change. Officers also represent the department in court, assist with apprehensions, and provide intake and pre-sentencing services.
