About this role

A Process Analytics and Control Specialist at Vertex contributes to drug product development by developing and validating Process Analytical Technology (PAT) methods for continuous manufacturing. The role also supports the Dissolution team through analytical method development, validation, and transfer while ensuring compliance with cGMP regulations. Candidates will utilize their background in analytical chemistry or engineering to implement automated control strategies and real-time release testing.

Responsibilities

Develop and validate Process Analytical Technology methods for continuous manufacturing
Implement automated control strategies for real-time manufacturing monitoring
Support analytical method development and transfer for drug products
Perform statistical data analysis including Monte Carlo simulations
Author methods, protocols, and technical reports in compliance with cGMP
