About this role

As a Process Development Scientist supporting Drug Substance manufacturing, you will join the Cell Sciences and Engineering team at Amgen to drive reliable production for patients with serious illnesses. This role focuses on process improvement, technology transfers, and investigations within a regulated biopharmaceutical environment. You will collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to optimize scientific methods and ensure compliance with cGMP standards.

Responsibilities

Support process improvement initiatives and technology transfers for drug substance manufacturing
Conduct deviation investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions
Develop optimize and troubleshoot scientific methods and analytical protocols
Author technical documents and regulatory support materials for projects
Collaborate cross functionally to present data analysis and technical conclusions

Qualifications

Doctorate degree in Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or related fieldMaster's degree in Life Sciences or Chemical Engineering with 2 years of experienceBachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Chemical Engineering with 4 years of experience
