Procurement Clerk II

The Procurement Officer II assists in managing local and international purchases for the Port, working under the supervision of the Procurement Officer I and an Accountant. Key duties include preparing purchase orders, negotiating vendor terms, coordinating with freight forwarders and customs brokers, and verifying invoices for accounts payable. The role also involves monitoring inventory levels, supporting cost-saving initiatives, and providing administrative support to the procurement team.
