Procurement Engineer

The Procurement Engineer supports the Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant by determining technical and quality requirements for parts, materials, and services, and resolving supplier exceptions. The role involves performing item equivalency evaluations for replacement parts and updating plant and supply chain documentation based on completed evaluations. This position is assigned to the Procurement Engineering department within the Fleet Central Design Organization at the SNC Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, AL, but will be filled at the nuclear plant near Ashford, AL.
