About this role

This is a 2-year exclusive summer internship program for undergraduate students within GE Vernova's Grid Solutions Business Unit. The Procurement Intern will support U.S. and Canadian teams by managing vendor relationships, processing purchase orders, and assisting in the implementation of procurement policies. The role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supplier management and the procurement process while contributing to various team initiatives.

Responsibilities

Support the Procurement team with request for quotations and purchase order placement
Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Participate in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures
Collaborate with internal departments to align on procurement needs
Work with multiple external and internal stakeholders on daily tasks

Skills

Qualifications

Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain ManagementFluent in EnglishProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteProficiency in Power BI
