Procurement Officer

The Procurement Officer oversees compliance with vendor contracts and quality control of the Kickapoo Tribe's property, working directly with the Accounting Department to ensure accuracy in requisitions, purchase orders, and remittances. This role involves managing procurement activities to ensure compliance with federal and tribal regulations, developing purchasing policies, and conducting competitive bidding processes for goods and services. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining records of property sales, managing insurance coverage, and ensuring fiscal obligation and safeguard of tribal credit cards.
