Procurement Specialist

This role focuses on placing purchase orders and managing supply dates to support IMAX's manufacturing schedule and service requirements. The position ensures all necessary materials are ordered and delivered on time by coordinating with suppliers and maintaining accurate delivery dates in the MRP system. Key duties include negotiating supplier agreements, developing cost reduction strategies, and resolving receiving or payment issues to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
