Procurement Specialist

This position facilitates the procurement and distribution of goods, services, equipment, and supplies for the City of Midlothian while adhering to ethical procurement practices. The role involves advising departments on purchasing requirements, reviewing bids and contracts for compliance, and managing the procurement card program. The incumbent will also handle surplus property disposal, process open records requests, and support City Council meetings with necessary documentation.
