About this role

The Design Liaison Engineer serves as the primary interface between TRAM, its customers, and the Japan HQ Design department to ensure design intent and customer expectations are aligned. The role focuses on coordinating design activities, documentation, and communication across internal engineering, manufacturing, quality, and sales teams as well as external customers and suppliers. It supports product development from early design through start of production and field feedback. The position is based in Plymouth, MI within a Japanese-owned automotive components supplier serving major OEMs.
