Tailscale is a secure networking service that builds a WireGuard®-based mesh VPN to connect devices, servers, and cloud resources with point-to-point encrypted tunnels. It implements least-privilege, zero-trust access via ACLs and integrates with identity providers (SSO) for authentication and policy enforcement. Tailscale handles NAT traversal, device discovery, and provides an admin console, audit logs, and enterprise features for scale. Teams choose it for fast deployment, cross-platform support, and simplified secure remote access.
