About this role

As a Test Engineer at Silicon Labs, you will develop and deploy production test solutions for RF/analog/mixed-signal System on Chips (SoCs) using advanced Automated Test Equipment platforms. You will collaborate with design and product teams to create comprehensive test plans, design custom test hardware, and lead first silicon bring-up and characterization processes. This role is critical for ensuring high-quality product delivery across consumer, industrial, and commercial IoT applications.

Responsibilities

Develop and deploy production test solutions for RF and mixed-signal SoCs
Design test hardware including load boards and probe cards for manufacturing environments
Lead first silicon bring-up and characterization of new silicon with design teams
Optimize test programs to improve time, yield, and coverage through data analysis
Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous process and methodology improvements

Skills

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering5+ years of ATE development experienceExperience with Teradyne UltraFlex or J750 platformsProficiency in C++ and PythonKnowledge of wireless protocols like BLE and Zigbee
