The Production Engineer owns the implementation of engineering changes from approved design to the factory floor, ensuring clean cut-ins, updated procedures, and trained technicians. This role serves as a technical bridge between Hardware Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, and Customer Success, working across the Cassie and Sonny product lines. The position involves driving process improvements, managing change reviews, and shaping the ECO and PLM tools used in the manufacturing facility.
Tutor Intelligence, founded out of MIT CSAIL, delivers physical AI solutions that automate factory floors and warehouse operations with AI-powered robot workers. Their product lineup includes Cassie, a robot purpose-built for palletizing, depalletizing, and case-picking, and Sonny, a humanoid robot designed for general industrial and warehouse labor. The company targets manufacturing and logistics businesses, offering flexible pricing models and full hardware-software deployment with no infrastructure changes required.
