About this role

Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role directs and administers injection molding and support operations to ensure production quality, efficiency, and safety. The incumbent defines manufacturing objectives, schedules production activities, resolves operational problems, and leads continuous improvement initiatives across the plant floor.

Responsibilities

Define and recommend manufacturing objectives that align with budget specifications
Direct production activities and drive continuous improvements on the factory floor
Coordinate scheduling to ensure product quality and timely delivery dates
Oversee food safety compliance and enforce all plant policies and procedures
Lead employee-driven teams to address scrap, quality, and safety issues

Skills

Qualifications

2-year technical degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering4-year degree in Business Management or Engineering (Six Sigma Certification preferred)Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience in a manufacturing environment3 years of Injection Molding experience (preferred)
