About this role

A Production Planner at Collins Aerospace supports the fuel nozzle production team by driving Materials Planning and Supply Integration and Operations Planning (SIOP) goals. The role involves creating demand schedules, managing capacity gaps, and ensuring on-time delivery through supply chain coordination and work-in-process tracking. Candidates will orient and train support employees while adapting procedures to solve basic production problems under general supervision.

Responsibilities

Create and execute plans for purchased parts and sub-assemblies.
Facilitate capacity management to identify long-term gaps supporting customer demands.
Manage the master demand schedule for long-range OE and aftermarket visibility.
Monitor transportation and manage work in process to ensure on-time delivery.
Guide lower-level staff in maintaining planning policy documents and data systems.
