About this role

Amcor Flexibles in Sligo seeks an experienced Production Planner to balance customer demand with manufacturing capacity for highly regulated flexible packaging. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role manages end-to-end planning, scheduling, and process efficiency across operations, quality, procurement, and customer service teams. The successful candidate ensures timely delivery of products while supporting short-term operational deadlines and long-term commercial goals.

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet DIFOT targets
Analyze customer demand against manufacturing capacity constraints to adjust schedules
Monitor and adapt manufacturing lines to resolve disruptions using scenario-based planning
Generate periodic reports on plan-versus-actual adherence and operational capacity
Coordinate with purchasing to optimize Just-In-Time material flow and minimize stock
