This role involves coordinating the purchase of ferrous metals from the public, ensuring proper classification and identification of materials into appropriate commodities. The position requires scanning identification into the system, verifying valid metal recycling permits, and ensuring compliance with state laws and company policies. The individual will also be responsible for grading and inspecting incoming materials, directing and assisting customers, and sorting and moving materials as needed.
