The ProFee Inpatient Coding Specialist III collaborates with ancillary and specialty departments to code, review, and release charges accurately and in a timely manner. This role ensures correct coding, billing compliance, and complete charge capture while addressing coding or charge capture questions with providers and staff. The position is fully remote and requires a full-time commitment from Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

Code and review inpatient charges to ensure billing compliance and accurate capture
Resolve claim edits and denials while maintaining coding accuracy and regulatory compliance
Query providers for missing documentation and identify trends to reduce claim denials
