About this role
The University of Maryland invites applications for Chair of the Department of Communication. This is a tenured, 12-month administrative appointment (preferred rank: Professor) with a five-year renewable term beginning July 1, 2026. The chair reports to the Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities and will participate in the department’s academic leadership and programs.
