The WOW Center is a Miami‑Dade Adult Day Training (ADT) nonprofit founded in 1972 by parents of children with developmental disabilities to expand post‑high school opportunities. It serves over 200 adults (ages 21–75+) with developmental disabilities, offering life skills, art, sports, music therapy, supported employment and other therapy services to promote independence and personal choice. The organization’s mission is to provide access to opportunities and resources for adults with developmental disabilities and the communities that support them, addressing barriers like high unemployment through tailored programming and community partnerships.
