Program Manager, Charging Smart (limited term role until July 2027)

The Program Manager, Charging Smart supports the Local Initiatives team in increasing the adoption of electric vehicles and EV charging by recruiting communities and providing technical assistance to local governments under the U.S. Department of Energy-funded Charging Smart program. The role involves working with partners to reduce local barriers to EV charging adoption, focusing on permitting, zoning, utility engagement, and market development. The position requires collaboration with a broad coalition of stakeholders and occasional support for other IREC programs.
