Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts
The Program Services Coordinator – Youth Volunteer Enrollment plays a key role in creating and sustaining mentor-mentee relationships by conducting interviews, reference checks, and assessments for prospective volunteers and youth. The position involves coordinating the matching process, facilitating initial placements, and maintaining accurate records while advocating for families. This role requires collaboration with agency staff to ensure youth safety and drive engagement in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Big Brother Big Sister of Eastern Massachusetts is a nonprofit mentoring organization that recruits, screens, and matches adult volunteers (“Bigs”) with children (“Littles”) across Eastern Massachusetts to build one‑to‑one supportive relationships. Their programs focus on igniting potential and empowering youth to thrive, improving social, academic, and life outcomes through sustained mentoring. The agency offers clear pathways to get involved—volunteer applications, family enrollment, corporate partnerships—and relies on donations and community support to deliver services. They emphasize measurable impact, community partnerships, and resources for volunteers, families, and donors.
