About this role

The Project Buyer at Valeo supports project teams throughout the purchasing lifecycle, from sourcing plan preparation to supplier selection, risk assessment, and contract management. The role ensures alignment with project milestones, quality, cost, and delivery targets, and coordinates closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead and support all purchasing activities throughout project lifecycle
Define and execute sourcing plans, RFQ processes and supplier selection
Assess supplier risks and develop mitigation plans with project team
Coordinate supplier design reviews and ensure compliance with Valeo requirements
Manage transfer of purchases to serial production and monitor milestone achievement
