About this role

This role supports the Engineering group in the design and development of spinal instruments and implants for the 2027 Spring/Summer co-op term. The position involves creating design plans, performing verification activities, and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure product quality. The co-op will also assist with project planning, marketing forecasts, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

Design and develop spinal instruments and implants using Pro/E and Creo
Perform design verification and validation activities to ensure specifications are met
Collaborate with engineers and surgeons to create project plans and Design History Files

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Software)
