About this role
American Electric Power offers a 10–12 week paid summer internship for college students to gain hands-on experience in engineering and project management. Interns work onsite in the Columbus, OH area, receive mentorship and training, and may be eligible for a $1,000/month housing stipend if relocating more than 45 miles. The program targets students who have completed at least their sophomore year and are graduating December 2026 or later.
