Property/Evidence Custodian

This position is responsible for receiving, processing, and securely storing confiscated property and evidence while maintaining the integrity of the custody chain. The role involves recording all transactions in an inventory control system, disposing of or returning property in accordance with legal regulations, and assisting with court proceedings as needed. The incumbent ensures the accurate documentation and safe handling of various items, including drugs, weapons, and vehicles, while adhering to established departmental policies.
