About this role

Propulsion Test Technician at Moog is responsible for setting up and conducting hot fire testing of liquid propulsion thrusters and systems, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental procedures, and operating high-pressure gas and liquid systems.

Responsibilities

Plan, set up, and execute thruster and propulsion system test operations
Fabricate, operate, maintain, and repair high-pressure gas and liquid systems
Clean, repair, calibrate, and operate gauges, transducers, flow meters, load cells and LVDT tanks
Operate and troubleshoot thruster test vacuum systems
Ensure adherence to safety and environmental procedures

Qualifications

Highschool Diploma or GED5 years of related experienceExperience in a testing environmentKnowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and vacuum systemsAbility to read and understand assembly drawings
