About this role
The Social & Legal Advocacy Officer supports implementation of human rights and advocacy activities within IRC’s Protection and Rule of Law program. The role combines legal aid provision with legal and policy analysis, research, and advocacy to identify legal barriers affecting conflict-affected populations and inform advocacy initiatives. The officer engages regularly with government authorities, partners, and civil society, conducts fieldwork and monitoring, and contributes to development of advocacy materials and local strategies.
