About this role

A Prototype Quality Analyst ensures that products and build processes for prototypes adhere to design requirements, regulatory standards, and company practices within the automotive industry. The role involves monitoring quality systems, performing supplier reviews and internal audits, documenting part conditions, and leading the resolution of non-conforming material issues. Key activities include managing Return Material Authorizations, conducting capability inspections, and maintaining compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO9001:2015 standards.

Responsibilities

Monitor build processes for adherence to design requirements and standards.
Perform supplier quality reviews and internal audits to ensure compliance.
Lead resolution of supplier quality issues and related corrective actions.
Issue Engineering Incident Reports and CARs to drive corrective actions.
Manage Return Material Authorization process for supplied non-conforming material.
