About this role

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and pharmacological treatment for individuals in the Emergency Psychiatric Services (EPS) setting, both in-person and via telehealth. The role works on a rotating 7‑day on/7‑day off schedule, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure appropriate referrals and follow‑up.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and diagnose psychiatric emergent or urgent conditions via face‑to‑face or telehealth
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications using OrderConnect
Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team and complete hospitalization referrals

Valid Tennessee APN license with Psych & Mental Health Nurse CertificationValid Tennessee Driver's License
