A Psychiatric Technician ensures the safety and well-being of patients with mental illness on acute hospital units by delivering direct patient care and managing daily activities. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, performing delegated medical tasks like EKGs and blood glucose testing, and leading therapeutic groups.
