Psychiatrist

This role provides medical and psychiatric services to the adult population, including support for the Crisis Respite Unit, Medication Clinics, and potentially Child and Adolescent Services. The position involves conducting psychiatric evaluations, prescribing and monitoring psychoactive medications, and contributing to the assessment and treatment of severe psychiatric disorders within a multi-disciplinary team. Services are delivered in urban and rural community mental health centers, adhering to trauma-informed care principles and Texas state regulations. The role requires flexibility, including regular office hours and crisis/emergency on-call rotations.
