Public Information Officer

This position supports the County’s Public Information Officer by developing and managing communication strategies, including internal and external messaging, media inquiries, and digital content creation. The role involves drafting news releases, managing social media accounts, and coordinating with various departments to enhance positive relationships with employees and the community. It also includes serving as a backup to the Public Information Officer and representing the department at public appearances.
