Public Safety Dispatcher

Public Safety Dispatchers support public safety agencies by receiving emergency and non-emergency communications, entering service requests into computer-aided dispatch systems, and dispatching personnel as needed. The role involves operating a technological workstation to manage multiple monitors, radios, and telephones while providing information and referrals to citizens. Employees also monitor detention center functions, maintain incident databases, and train new staff to ensure effective emergency response and public safety.
