About this role
A Public Safety Officer at Endeavor Health provides an unarmed, uniformed safety presence across multiple hospital campuses in northeast Illinois. The role supports the health system's mission to deliver community-connected care and is available in full-time, part-time, and per diem arrangements across day, evening, and night shifts. Positions are based onsite at various hospitals including Swedish, Skokie, Evanston, Highland Park, and Glenbrook.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Illinois Firearm Owner’s Identification (FOID) Card (within 90 days)
- CPR Certification (AHA or Red Cross) (within 90 days)
- Valid Driver's License
- CPI Certification (within 6 months)
- IAHSS Basic Healthcare Security Officer (preferred, within 12 months)
