About this role
Assists in the configuration, installation, maintenance, repair and replacement of pumps used in Salt Lake City's water treatment plants and distribution system. Works under a Field Supervisor or Lead Technician supporting more than 250 pumps of various types and sizes essential to water pressure, fireflows, and system sustainability. The role supports plant and field operations, recordkeeping, and may perform related mechanical, welding, and machine shop tasks.
