Purchasing Agent

The Purchasing Agent is responsible for managing the ordering, receiving, storing, distributing, and payment of items while formulating an approved vendor list. This role involves collaborating with the Executive Chef to ensure quality and profitability, maintaining inventory controls, and ensuring sanitation and safety standards are met. The position requires accurate administration of invoices, adherence to bookkeeping procedures, and the use of computer programs for cost calculations.
