A Purchasing Buyer participates in designing, building, operating, and monitoring a global supply network to minimize total acquisition cost and maximize capital spending efficiency. The role supports indirect and direct procurement across multiple categories, drives supplier selection and negotiation, and collaborates with suppliers for technical innovation. It also supports manufacturing footprint and daily order fulfillment by maintaining BOM pricing, managing logistics agreements, and developing supplier relationships.
