About this role

A QC Scientist in Microbiology performs hands-on microbiological testing for raw materials, in-process samples, and drug products within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment. The role focuses primarily on Bioburden and Bacterial Endotoxin Testing (BET) while supporting product release, stability studies, and validation activities. Candidates must document results accurately according to cGMP and ALCOA+ principles while collaborating across Quality and Manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and non-routine microbiological testing of raw materials and drug products
Execute Bioburden and Bacterial Endotoxin Testing in accordance with approved procedures
Collect and analyze utility monitoring samples from pharmaceutical water and gas systems
Document laboratory activities and results in compliance with cGMP and ALCOA+ principles
Support method qualifications, transfers, and validation activities as assigned
