About this role

QNX is seeking a QNX Systems Software Developer to bridge the gap between QNX and the open-source community by integrating modern frameworks, AI/ML technologies, and developer tools into the QNX Real-Time Operating System. The role involves developing software across a broad technical stack, optimizing performance on embedded hardware, and supporting the integration of open-source projects with core QNX technologies. This position focuses on building a rich open-source ecosystem to enable developers to leverage technologies traditionally found on Linux natively on QNX.

Responsibilities

Develop software using C, C++, Python, and Rust for the QNX RTOS
Integrate open-source projects with core QNX technologies
Develop OS-specific abstraction layers and adapt cross-compilation build systems

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
