About this role

A Quality Engineer ensures compliance with Level 1/SUBSAFE and NAVSEA contractual requirements for safety-critical hardware manufacturing. The role involves contract reviews, developing data packages, coordinating source inspections, and maintaining strict adherence to documented quality procedures throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Perform contract reviews and evaluate customer requirements
Develop and maintain inspection instructions and test procedures
Coordinate source inspections and verify supplier certifications
Generate data packages and prepare Certificates of Conformance
Process Nonconformance Reports and support Material Review Boards

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality, or ManufacturingISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems knowledge
