The Quality Engineer acts as a hands-on technical leader responsible for driving permanent corrective actions and sustaining compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards. This role involves strong plant-floor engagement to investigate defects, lead root cause analysis using methods like 8D and 5-Why, and collaborate cross-functionally to improve process capability.

Responsibilities

Lead corrective action reports from containment to verification
Facilitate 8D problem-solving activities and root cause analysis
Perform MSA studies including Gage R&R and capability studies
Support APQP and PPAP submissions for new programs
Conduct plant floor audits and ensure ISO compliance

Qualifications
