About this role

Leidos Mission Assurance is seeking a Quality Engineer to support 1st shift operations with the Optics Payloads / Electronics team in Huntsville, AL. This role plays a critical part in ensuring mechanical, electrical, and optical manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing of spaceflight hardware meet all requirements for the Wide Field of View program. The position involves leading quality assurance activities, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements across the program
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for non-conformances
Perform first article inspections and support design and manufacturing reviews
