Quality Systems Specialist

The Quality Systems Specialist supports quality assurance and regulatory compliance across clinical laboratory operations, combining a clinical laboratory background with expertise in quality systems and continuous improvement. This role independently administers quality assurance programs, manages proficiency testing, and ensures compliance with CLIA, CAP, and other regulatory requirements. The position collaborates with laboratory leadership and technical staff to identify quality risks, investigate nonconforming events, and implement corrective actions while championing the use of artificial intelligence and automation to improve accuracy and regulatory readiness.
